Biography

I was elected to the Colerain Township Board of Trustees in 2017. I have been married to Jeanne for 32 years and we have two adult children. Our daughter graduated from the University of Cincinnati / Education and is a 7th grade math and science teacher. Our son is a graduate of The Ohio State University / Computer and Electrical Engineering and is working for a software design firm. During their high school years, we hosted a foster student for 4 years and a German exchange student for 15 months. Our foster student graduated from UC in 2019 with a degree in nursing and now works as a full time registered nurse in a pediatric hospital. Our "German daughter" is now teaching English near her hometown.  

I have always appreciated the animating contest of the marketplace throughout my career in small business, where you can see the results of your efforts every day. I enjoy working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and consider myself fortunate to do something I truly enjoy. My civic involvement includes 11 years of volunteer service on the Hamilton County Tax Levy Review Committee and two elected terms as a board member on the Northwest Local School District Board of Education (2008-2015).

Community Involvement

I have been involved with the Boy Scouts of America all of my life and have been a leader for St. James White Oak Cub Scout Pack 24 / Boy Scout Troop 24 since 2001. My pre-school teacher wife and I are active members of St. James Parish and are involved in various ministries at church.
