Our K9 team began patrolling the schools and streets of Colerain Township in May 2015.
Officer Huntington with K9 Tao and Officer Morris with K9 Ghost are two specially trained teams with a mission to enhance security in our schools and throughout Colerain Township.

Tao, Ghost, Officer Morris and Officer Huntington each received 14 weeks of K9 training from a nationally recognized kennel and routinely participate in regional training hosted by the Cincinnati Police Department. There, they learn to track suspects, find drugs and weapons, and many other skills necessary to provide service to the Township.
The Department's first three dogs Rocky, Kudo and Taz retired from service from the Township.
The K9 teams hold many public demonstrations and are asked to present in front of many civic groups throughout Colerain Township.
