Being a victim of crime is a stressful and traumatic event. Often, police officers and court officials take for granted that you may not know how the criminal justice system works and what to expect. It is your right, and our responsibility to you as a victim, to have the process explained to you and to have your questions answered.
There are links to resources for you to gain a better understanding of your rights. If, at any time, you have questions about your rights or the status of your case, please do not hesitate to call 513-321-COPS (2677) and ask for assistance.
