Township Maintained Streets

Colerain Township has the responsibility to maintain subdivision streets and the streets that feed into main roads. The main roadways in the Township are maintained by either the State of Ohio or by Hamilton County. Additional tips to determine who a roadway is maintained by include (but not always):

  • Roadways with painted lines are almost always maintained by the County or State
  • Roadways that end in Boulevard (Blvd) or Avenue (Ave) are State maintained
  • Roadways that end in Road (Rd) are most often maintained by the County
  • Most other roadways are maintained by the Township or are privately maintained
