Residents and businesses who wish to do work in the public right of way on Township streets must first obtain a permit. Examples of such work include but are not limited to:
- Replacing an existing sidewalk
- Replacing an existing driveway apron
- Installing a new sidewalk
- Installing a new driveway apron
Application Process
Applications are available at the Public Services Office, 4160 Springdale Road, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You may also download a copy of the permit application (PDF) and return it, along with payment, to the Public Services Office during office hours. The form can also be submitted online (please note that payment is due via credit card at time of submission if applying online).
Permits are $15 each. Payment is due at the time of application and must be accompanied by a site plan. Once submitted, applications take 3 to 5 business days to be returned.
