Some people are simply not aware that the shelters can be rented. If you show those in the shelter a copy of your reservation, most people will clean up and leave. If they refuse, we do not have employees that are in the parks nor do we have weekend office hours. We ask that the renter call the non-emergency Colerain Township Police number at 513-321-COPS (2677).

You can rent shelters online. Shelters can also be reserved at the Parks and Services Office at 4160 Springdale Road during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to the shelters that can be reserved, Colerain Parks also has two shelters that are available on a first come first served basis, one shelter at Groesbeck Park and one at the Obergiesing Soccer Complex at Dravo Park.
All shelters come with picnic tables and a charcoal grill. All of the shelters at Colerain Park, Clippard Park, and Heritage Park have electricity. Amenities near each shelter, such as corn hole, volleyball courts, etc, are open to the general public.
Trash is taken out each morning, but shelters do not get sanitized or deep cleaned on a regular basis.
No staples, duct tape, nails, or adhesives that will leave permanent residue or damage may be used to attach any items to the shelters or picnic tables. Tape may be used, however, all tape must be removed at the end of the applicant’s rental period.
No, you do not need a permit. Alcohol consumption is permitted in the shelter area only. Alcohol is not permitted in the park except in the reserved areas. No glass containers are allowed.
No. We do not allow bounce houses or other inflatables at any of our parks for events not sponsored by Colerain Township.
Pop-up tents are prohibited in our parks. We do not allow the public to bring in grills or their own tables to create their own space to host a picnic. Most parks do have tables spaced throughout the park that are available to be used on a first come, first served basis.
Disc jockeys are not permitted. Noise generated from the shelter area is not to be plainly audible 80 feet from the shelter, per Colerain Township Board of Trustees Resolution 9-03.
