Construction

In September of 2009, a 10,000 square foot playground was assembled at the park in one day by volunteers from CVS Pharmacy. The playground was built with a $225,000 grant from CVS Caremark/All Kids Can and Boundless Playgrounds.

The playground is fully accessible to people of all abilities and features a poured rubber surface making for easy maneuvering.
